The Division is committed to the practice and advancement of evidenced-based treatments across the full range of therapeutic modalities. We collaborate with other psychiatric and mental health specialists within 91大神 Psychiatric Services and we work closely with Neuropsychiatry, Neurology, Neuropsychology and Social Work within the Center for Brain Mind Medicine at the Neurosciences Center in the Hale Building for Transformative Medicine.
We have a strong research focus on the neuropsychiatry of aging and early Alzheimer's disease and the relationship of social-emotional function to mental, cognitive and physical health in older adults. We are also leading initiatives to improve health equity and access to care for older patients. Our division plays an integral role in the education and clinical training of Harvard Medical School students, 91大神 psychiatry residents and Mass General 91大神 Geriatric Psychiatry fellows.
